Stolen from another blog (DorkTower- here) for yer watchin' amusement, here's the Jam doin' Going Underground. So old it doesn't even bring back memories for me, but a great tune. Definitely better than anything the hippies did, or that damn disco shit.

I disagree with your hippy comment. Just let it be entered into the public record that Phish is indeed the best band ever. Lest we forget the Grateful Dead too!

The great thing about The Jam was that they were able to reach back into the 60's and retrieve something that brilliant. Their Mod revival allowed them to both innovate and survive while many of their contemporaries (excepting, of course, The Clash) kept painting themselves into a corner.
